JOB SUMMARY
  • To plan and deliver the Bank’s community engagement strategies for Hong Kong and ensure alignment with the Bank’s global vision to be the world’s most sustainable and responsible bank
  • To promote and build the Bank’s community investment narrative internally and externally
  • To drive the planning and execution of the Bank’s community and sponsorship programmes in Hong Kong including the Hong Kong Marathon, Arts in the Park, Futuremakers’ First Job to uphold the Bank's franchise and reputation
  • To manage the Bank’s community foundations in Hong Kong and engage our community partners to identify needs for support
  • To lead other engagement programmes including employee volunteering, Futuremakers fundraising etc
  • To promote the Bank’s thought leadership on sustainability and FinTech development
Regulatory & Business Conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
  • Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association (or equivalent)

  • Embed Here for good and Group’s brand and values, Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures; Multiple functions (double hats)
Our Ideal Candidate
  • At least 8 years of experience with proven record in designing and overseeing the delivery of community investment programmes
  • Knowledge of environmental, social and sustainable development key themes and best practice
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Experience in putting forward the company position with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise and manage multitude of issues simultaneously
