  • Create and update wine lists in coordination with chefs and restaurant managers to pair with food menus;
  • Present wine menu to guests and make recommendations according to guests’ personal tastes and food choices;
  • Provide quality service to guests and respond promptly to guests’ enquiries, requests and complaints;
  • Assist in the sourcing and procurement of specialty wines;
  • Maintain wine inventory and ensure proper storage conditions;
  • Assist in the floor operations of the restaurant;
  • Ensure all procedures are conducted safely and align with the IHG services standard and its standard of both personal and food hygiene and appearance.
Job Requirements:
  • Certificate in recognized sommelier programme or advanced level of wine knowledge will be an advantage;
  • Minimum 3 years relevant working experience;
  • Courteous, professional and guest-oriented;
  • Basic knowledge in food hygiene;
  • Good command of spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
