- Create and update wine lists in coordination with chefs and restaurant managers to pair with food menus;
- Present wine menu to guests and make recommendations according to guests’ personal tastes and food choices;
- Provide quality service to guests and respond promptly to guests’ enquiries, requests and complaints;
- Assist in the sourcing and procurement of specialty wines;
- Maintain wine inventory and ensure proper storage conditions;
- Assist in the floor operations of the restaurant;
- Ensure all procedures are conducted safely and align with the IHG services standard and its standard of both personal and food hygiene and appearance.
- Certificate in recognized sommelier programme or advanced level of wine knowledge will be an advantage;
- Minimum 3 years relevant working experience;
- Courteous, professional and guest-oriented;
- Basic knowledge in food hygiene;
- Good command of spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
