Job Description:This role is reserved for University/institution candidates as part of their work placement.A Sports Assistant is responsible for supporting Coaches and facilities team throughout all activities, facilitating students' learning, and providing a positive and encouraging environment through ESF Explore's sports programmes, which include:

Football
Basketball
Multi-Sports
Swimming
Site Coordinator

Responsibilities

Maintain smooth Summer Camps/Clinics operation
Maintain smooth daily operations and bookings for ESF Sports Facilities
Develop good working relationships with site and ESF Explore management teams, including school cleaners, caretakers and security
Complete office administration tasks
Follow up inventory and class attendance and ensure regular communication with customers and coaches, enabling any issues or problems to be dealt with quickly and professionally.
Ensure daily maintenance of ESF facilities, serve third-party facility rentals at King George V School or where needed, and help with ESF Explore programmes when necessary.
Complete miscellaneous tasks and other responsibilities assigned by the Assistant Site Manager, Facilities Manager, or Director of Sport.

Requirements

Good verbal and written communication skills
Fluency in English and Cantonese
A confident and professional manner with strong interpersonal skill
Good organisational and planning skills
Possess computer knowledge in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Additional sport-related qualifications
Energy and enthusiasm
Flexibility to adapt to changing environments, ability groups, weather conditions and venue issues
A commitment to work unsocial hours
Willing and enthusiastic about continued professional development, education and training
