- Be the subject matter expert of Corporate Safety for the Bank Group
- Input on preparation, monitoring and coordination of budgets for the Bank’s properties on Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) aspects.
- Communicate with various internal and external customers and vendors
- Manage and deliver EHS programs, update the Bank’s EHS manuals, guidelines and registers
- Conduct EHS assessments, inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory, permit and company requirement
- Serve as company-wide EHS compliance program owner to interpret EHS regulations and to develop company-wide standards, procedures or programs
- Monitor the operations of branch and department to ensure staff have strictly followed the EHS requirements
- Arrange EHS trainings for bank staff with Training & Development Department
- Assist supervisors to review operations procedures with reference to EHS polices and rules
- Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity; and
- Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work
- Preferable 5-8 years of relevant experience in OSH management cover the following
- Sound knowledge of OSH, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001;
- Registered Safety Officer / Registered Safety Auditor qualification is an advantage;
- Sound knowledge in business operations and able to prepare and interpret financial budgets;
- Sound knowledge of security and guarding operations / facilities management / property management and able to lead a team to ensure excellent facilities management services provided;
- Good understanding of relevant regulations, policies, procedures, practices and rules;
- Strong leadership and problem solving skills;
- Excellent planning, organizational and project management skills;
- Highly independent with ability to interact with multi-cultural teams;
- A very good team player with good communication skills and risk awareness;
- Good PC skills in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
