Contact Email:Job DescriptionOur client is a renowned Hong Kong family office, focused on alternative investments in Asia. They're looking for a Chief Operating Officer to join as part of the Management team directly reporting to CEO. This position will be responsible for daily management and strategic planning for their investments in APAC.Responsibilities:
- Ensure the legal & compliance guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company's legality and business ethics
- Manage relationship with lenders and investors in HK, Mainland China and APAC as well as other external stakeholders to secure funding and support strategic intiatives
- Provide strategies and goals into practical projects, and worked collaboratively across the organization to ensure timely and sucessful delivery of these projects
- Supervise the operation team on daily operations such as financial planning, financial reporting and budgeting process, ensuring accuracy, consitency and aligenment with business objectives.
- Manage external counsel as and when necessary for analyzing any impact of new laws/regulations
- Degree Holder in Legal, Accounting, Business or related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of management with Qualified Lawyer or Accountant Background in asset management, investment bank, private bank, financial institution or other related fields
- Resourceful leader with proven track record to manage and operate a team
- Strong business, commerical and financial acumen to provide flexible legal & compliance solutions
