Teaching Assistant for the Master of Family Wealth Management Programme (Ref.:526377) (to commence on or before 1 August 2024, on a one-year temporary basis or two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)The Hong Kong Institute for the Humanities and Social Sciences (“IHSS”) is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support the delivery of history-related courses for the taught master's programme in Family Wealth Management (“FWM”). The appointee's main responsibility is to support instructors for history-related courses, which may include but are not limited to:
MFWM7001 History of Wealth and Financial Markets
MFWM7002 History of the Family and Family Business Dynasties
MFWM7011 Economic and Quantitative History
MFWM7012 Business History and Best Practices
MFWM7013 Faith, Religion and Leadership
Successful candidate(s) would have either completed or in the process of completing a Master's degree or above in History or other related disciplines. Background in economic history, Asian religions, and/or statistical research would be a plus. An excellent command of spoken and written English is required. Prior teaching experience and creative approaches to classroom activities would also be most appreciated.Work type is flexible - we may consider both full-time and part-time workers, to be discussed with the Programme Director.
