This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most renowned European retailers as the Sourcing Manager for the food category. You will be working as a key position to help the company to drive their sourcing business to the next level. The role promises to be a hugely challenging but highly rewarding opportunity for you and your career.Reporting to the department head, a typical day will include the following:-

Manage the end-to-end merchandising process including supplier selection, negotiation, product development, order management etc.
Applies product knowledge and expertise to manage the electrical product whilst adopting a strategic approach towards the continuous development of the supplier base.
Conducts intensive negotiations with suppliers to achieve the best purchase price for the agreed quality.
Develop 3-5 years strategic plan and annual sourcing plan in concert with business stakeholders.
Act as subject matter expert of sourcing & end to end supply chain, bringing valuable market insights to supported business units.
Drives product innovation and quality with suppliers through in-depth understanding of production processes and product requirements.
Management of Supply Chain and ensuring the most cost-efficient methods are used
Motivate the team by sharing knowledge and expertise, ensuring attention to detail, and seeking continuous improvements.
Lead a team of 3.

To succeed in this key role:You must have solid experience in handling relevant product category, strong in supplier management and negotiation. We are seeking an individual who is self-motivated, passionate and assertive.Knowledge, Capabilities, Experience:

Bachelor degree holder in any discipline
Over 8 years related merchandising experience, preferably having worked in an EU buying office
Fluent in English and Mandarin
Proficient computer skills
