Suicide Prevention Services is a registered charity providing sustainable, volunteer-based suicide prevention services in the community. It includes a 24-hour Suicide Prevention Hotline, Outreach Elderly Suicide Prevention Service, a project for Survivors of Suicide, Community Education & Life Education for Youths.DescriptionsMain Duties :

Organise life education programs in schools and community;

Run support groups and programs for primary 4 to secondary 2 students;

Provide trainings and educational workshops for teachers and parents;

Provide volunteer training and support services for students and families.

Render case consultation for students with emotional distress or suicidal thoughts.

Requirements :

Registered social worker with recognized degree or above in Social Work, at least 5 years of post-graduate working experience in social service and experience in supervisory or managerial level (YLE001) / Registered social worker with recognized Associate Degree or Higher Diploma or above in Social Work, at least 2-3 years of post-graduate working experience in social service (YLE002);

Working experience in student counselling (Primary 4 to Secondary 2), school setting, expressive art therapy or volunteer service is a definite advantage;

An energetic and mature team player with strong interpersonal skills & outgoing personality;

Independent and multi-tasking skills;

Good PC knowledge, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
