Job Summary:The Community Services Officer is responsible for supporting the design, delivery, and coordination of community service initiatives under the Kai Tak Youth Projects. This role focuses on providing direct services to youth and the community, promoting social inclusion, and addressing the needs of vulnerable groups. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to implement meaningful programs, facilitate engagement, and ensure compliance with organizational policies. The position requires a proactive, empathetic, and organized individual who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of youth and the community.Principal Accountabilities:1. Program Support and Implementation:- Assist in the planning, execution, and coordination of social service programs and activities.- Ensure programs meet the needs of youth, families, and other target groups.2. Case Management and Support Services:- Provide case management support to individuals and families, ensuring their needs are addressed effectively.- Assist in connecting beneficiaries with appropriate community resources and services.3. Stakeholder Engagement:- Collaborate with schools, community organizations, and service providers to deliver impactful programs.- Facilitate communication and engagement with youth participants and their families.4. Monitoring and Reporting:- Monitor program performance and maintain accurate records of activities and outcomes.- Prepare reports and documentation to evaluate the effectiveness of social service initiatives.5. Community Outreach and Advocacy:- Conduct outreach and engagement activities to raise awareness of available programs and services.- Advocate for the needs and interests of youth and vulnerable groups in the community.6. Administrative and Logistical Support:- Provide administrative support for social service programs, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree (or higher).Field of Study: Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.Area of Experience: Minimum of 3–4 years of experience in social services, case management, or community work.Other Professional Qualifications / Technical Skills / Knowledge Required:- Strong understanding of social service principles and practices.- Experience in working with youth, families, and vulnerable groups.- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.Language Proficiency:- Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
