Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in Community Child Health in the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine (Ref.: 524426) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis or a one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)The appointee will participate in a large-scale 15-year longitudinal population study of growth among children and adolescents in Hong Kong. We aim to identify the vulnerable group and estimate their future risk to develop the guide for effective interventions.You will be expected, but not limited to liaising with related parties, supervising student helpers, cleaning and management, performing data collection, filing and analysis, and writing manuscripts under supervision. On-the-job training will be provided. Your primary work location will be in Hong Kong Children's Hospital, Kowloon Bay.You should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Statistics, Data Science, or other healthcare-related disciplines, preferably with at least one year's post-qualification. The successful candidate will have a creative approach to problem-solving, be self-motivated, highly committed, able to work in a team, have a good command of written English and spoken Cantonese and have good organizational and administrative skills.
