Information Technology | Permanent | Quarry Bay25 Mar 2024Information Technology | Permanent | Quarry Bay25 Mar 2024About our roleWe are now looking for a talented Manager, IT Applications to be part of our dynamic team based at our headquarters in One Island East. Reporting to Senior Manager, Information Technology, the incumbent will provide business and technical direction, guidance and supports to both scrum teams and teams for the implementation of Portfolio related application system.Responsibilities will include

Lead the application development team in designing, developing, and implementing application solutions that meet the specific requirements of different businesses within our portfolio
Collaborate closely with stakeholders from various business units to identify their unique application needs and translate them into technical specifications
Coordinate effectively with project stakeholders, including business units, internal IT teams, and vendors, to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of projects
Oversee the complete application lifecycle, encompassing planning, testing, deployment, and providing ongoing support and troubleshooting.Ensure compliance with security standards, data protection regulations, and best practices across all applications
Provide guidance and mentorship to the application development team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment

Together with creativity, integrity and passion, our ideal staff should be / have

University graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science or Degree holder in Computing related subjects
10+ years' experience in system development including 5+ years' experience in PM role in application development
Ability and willingness to proactively accept and drive change to accomplish positive collective outcomes
Experience with Agile/Scrum Development, Microservices architecture and REST API Integration is preferred
Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
Good presentation, strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
