About Our ClientOur client is one of the largest financial institutions in Hong Kong with more than 10,000 employees with a multinational workforce. They have a well-established business with excellent development opportunity for individuals, they are currently looking for an experienced talent acquisition leader, familiar with working in sizeable firms with a complexity in organizational structure, to be their TA functional head for driving recruitment strategies, employer branding and other initiatives.Job DescriptionObjectives:
  • Act as the functional head of Talent Acquisition to develop and drive a wide range of TA strategies, workforce and talent planning as well as staff recruitment activities
  • Develop recruitment initiatives aligning with business strategy and organizational goals
Employer Branding:
  • Act as the ambassador to position the firm as an Employer of Choice and create a positive candidate experience (for both the selected and non-selected candidates) throughout the entire recruiting process
  • Collaborate on the Resourcing Effectiveness and Employer Branding projects from time to time and share best practices with the wider TA team
Candidate Sourcing
  • Work with HRBP and Talent Management to improve internal resourcing, optimize internal candidate pool to facilitate internal mobility and development of talents
  • Develop cost effective sourcing solutions including employee referral programs and direct sourcing to enhance Return on Investment
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with recruitment agencies, manage their effective service delivery in alignment with our strategic human capital goals in recruitment and business needs
Recruitment Operational Excellence
  • Oversee and manage the entire recruitment life cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessment, offer negotiation, and onboarding
  • Ensure a seamless, efficient and consistent candidate experience at every touch point
Data Tracking and ATS
  • Improve TA operational and delivery efficiency/ effectiveness by tracking and managing quantitative and qualitative KPIs, metrics and analytics
  • Implement consistent recruiting metrics and ensure they are achieved to ensure the highest levels of efficiency and productivity
Leadership and Stakeholder Management
  • Provide the hiring managers with market intelligence regarding the talent community/ the competition and industry trends
  • Provide leadership support, coaching sessions for Talent Acquisition Team to instill TA best practices
The Successful Applicant
  • Degree holder in HR or business-related disciplines
  • Minimum of 12 years of solid talent acquisition experience from both recruitment agency and in-house position in sizable corporation; at least 5 years of leadership experience
  • Experience working within financial institutions would be ideal
  • Strong business acumen with excellent stakeholder management ability
  • Effective interpersonal skills with strategic mindset
  • Independent, confident, strong problem solving and organization skills
  • Excellent command in both verbal and written English, ideally both English and Chinese
