Our key areas of operations include Retail Banking and Wealth Management, Asset Management, Private Banking and Insurance.We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Product Designer.Principal ResponsibilitiesIn this role you willInfluence our vision, strategy, and roadmap to help position HSBC at the forefront of customer experience designElevate design quality and practice, championing design thinking, and facilitating a culture of excellence and accountabilityEnsure the highest standard of craft, clarity and creativity, across user experience (UX), user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) Writing, whilst working alongside a global team of Product Designers and supporting disciplinesAbility to translate complex financial services and regulatory requirements into simple, engaging and trustworthy digital experiencesConduct research and effectively apply data and insights to inform, evaluate, and validate customer experiences that deliver real value, ensuring the voice of the customer is embedded in every decision.Obsess over the details of UX, content, visual and interaction design, consistently pushing boundaries to create innovative, inclusive, and elegant experiences across all stages of the product development lifecycleRealize the benefits of consistency and scalable design practices to deliver high quality experiences for diverse customers, championing a culture of inclusivity and valuing differencesRequirementsTo be successful you will needProven experience designing digital products and services, with strategic responsibility and impact or connecting decisions to business and customer goalsA strong portfolio showcasing world-class product design across responsive and native platforms, with clear user and business outcomesExpertise in Figma, design systems, prototyping, and core UX disciplines including research, content design, testing, visual and interaction design, and information architectureExperience in complex, regulated environments-ideally financial servicesWorking knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive designConfidence mentoring others and contributing to a culture of growth and excellenceOpening up a world of opportunityHSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
