Operations Manager - Regional Corporate Bank

• Manage and run daily operation of all the back office function - Loan & Agency (which would be the main focus), Trade Finance, Settlement, KYC in accordance with appropriate regulations.
• Plan the resources to support the operation of the back office function and ensure adequate resource for back up purpose.
• Approve and release transactions booking through the application systems.
• Approve and release the payment transactions.
• Sign and approve the transaction documents and customer advices.
• Review and approve reconciliation and control reports.
• Plan, direct and control bank operations, ensuring that established policies and procedures are followed and delegating responsibilities to staff as needed to meet bank objectives.
• Collaborate with senior executives to formulate & set up appropriate goals, guidelines & operation procedures.
• Liaise with regulatory units (ie HKMA, HKICL)
• Adhere to compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with Banking standards, policies and practices and report/correct control weaknesses, compliance breaches and operational defects.
• Support any ad hoc task or project assigned by management

• Bachelor Degree or above, preferably in Business Administration or related disciplines
• 15+ years of experience in loan operations in corporate bank
• Familiar with Syndication and Bilateral Loans
• Open to candidates from non-team lead position
• Good command of written and spoken Cantonese & English
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• A team player with excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
