- Develop and implement the overall investment strategy for overseas real estate projects, in alignment with the company's objectives and risk appetite.
- Lead a team of investment professionals and provide guidance and support in analyzing investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and making investment recommendations.
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify potential investment markets and trends, including macroeconomic factors, regulatory changes, and industry dynamics.
- Evaluate and assess investment proposals, including financial modeling, feasibility studies, risk analysis, and return on investment calculations.
- Negotiate and structure complex real estate investment deals, including joint ventures, acquisitions, and financing arrangements with external partners and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including developers, brokers, legal advisors, financial institutions, and government agencies.
- Stay updated on market trends, emerging investment opportunities, and regulatory changes in overseas real estate markets, and provide recommendations on adjusting the investment strategy accordingly.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of existing real estate investments, including financial performance, market conditions, and operational efficiency.
- Prepare investment reports, presentations, and updates for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key findings, risks, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to ensure smooth execution and management of real estate investments.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, economics, or a related field. A master's degree in business administration or finance is preferred.
- Min. 8 yearas of experience in real estate investment, with a focus on overseas markets. Experience in leading and managing investment teams is a plus.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to perform complex financial analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and risk assessment.
- In-depth knowledge of overseas real estate markets, including market trends, investment regulations, legal frameworks, and local practices.
- Excellent negotiation and deal structuring skills, with a track record of successfully executing real estate investment transactions.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex investment concepts to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and priorities.
- Fluent in written and spoken English. Additional language skills relevant to target markets are desirable.
