In light of our rapid business expansion, we would like to invite professional candidates for the following position.Andrew Lee King Fun & Associates Architects Ltd invites applicants for the following post of resident site staff:Resident Clerk of Works (RCOW) /Resident Assistant Clerk of Works (RACOW)Location: Kowloon
Project Type: a NGO headquarters cum youth hostel developmentResponsibilities:

Assist the project team and act as the site representative of the Client/ Architect to perform site supervisory duties. Overall site supervision including but not limited to detailed inspections, checking of setting out, structural works, builder works, fitting out works, reporting, interpreting and recording concisely.
Prepare site daily reports and bi-weekly progress reports as well as reporting the progress at site meetings.
Witness on-site and off-site tests as required.
Report immediately any unsatisfactory/non-conforming site works.
Oversee the performance of contractors to ensure the required standards, construction sequence, workmanship and health & safety are achieved.
Monitor, motivate the progress of work and coordinate with consultants and contractors to ensure objectives are achieved according to the agreed scheme and budget.
Work closely with consultants, client stakeholders, relevant organizations and internal teams on project progression and implementation.

Qualifications:Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building Studies from the Construction Industry Council in Hong Kong/ Hong Kong Institute of Construction/ Hong Kong Polytechnic/ Hong Kong Polytechnic University/ Hong Kong Technical College/ Hong Kong Technical Institute/ Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, or equivalent/ Engineering qualifications; andFamiliar with Building Regulations and well versed in coordination of services & construction details; andFor application for the position of Resident Clerk of Works, minimum 8 years relevant post-qualification experience with minimum 5 years relevant experience as RCOW in hostels/ headquarters or other related projects is required; andFor application for the position of Resident Assistant Clerk of Works, minimum 3 years relevant experience as RACOW in hostels/ headquarters or other related projects; andWith relevant experience in site safety supervision. Candidates with Degree Certificate, Diploma or Higher Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or in Construction Safety are preferred; andMiC experience and local experience are considered as merits for consideration; and * Level 2* or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the HKDSE or Grade "E" in HKCEE, or equivalent[Note* Grade E in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in previous HKCEE are accepted administratively as comparable to Level 2 in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.] ; andGeneral Note:

The tentative commencement date of employment will be in August 2025.
The tentative employment period will be around 18 months with possible extension subject to works condition.
