Our Client is a well-known global financial organisation and has a sizeable IT team in Hong Kong. They are currently looking for an experienced Technical Consultant with a strong experience in Open System technologies to provide expertise across a variety of projects. The role initially offers a 12-month contract with the possibility of renewal.Key Contributions:
  • Lead multiple project executions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support on-premises related projects such as server configurations, system integrations, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Deliver exceptional support for Private Cloud services utilizing VMware to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and external vendors, managing relationships to secure timely delivery of resources, services, and support for the initiatives.
  • Provide strategic recommendations on integrating Open System environments with cloud technologies, enabling hybrid solutions where beneficial to project goals.
Core Expectations:
  • Degree Tertiary or above qualification in Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in IT infrastructure support.
  • Advanced proficiency with Open System platforms in on-premise settings
  • Working experience in hybrid environments, integrating on-premise infrastructure with cloud platforms (i.e. AWS, Azure).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and technical proficiency in various IT systems and applications.
