Our client is one of the leading enterprises with sophisticated technology in town. As a DevOps Engineer, you won't just be an administrator; you will be the engineer responsible for the reliability, performance, and evolution of our client's entire Atlassian ecosystem (Jira, Confluence). You will ensure our developers and business users have a fast, stable, and powerful platform, enabling them to do their best work. This is a high-impact role that bridges the gap between application management and modern cloud-native infrastructure.What You'll Do:
  • Engineer & Operate: Architect, manage, and scale our mission-critical Atlassian applications hosted on Linux and Kubernetes.
  • Automate Everything: Develop and maintain scripts (Bash, Python, etc.) to automate upgrades, health checks, user management, and other routine tasks.
  • Drive Reliability: Proactively monitor system performance, tune configurations, and troubleshoot complex issues to guarantee high availability.
  • Champion Best Practices: Partner with engineering, agile, and support teams to design and implement robust workflows, integrations, and permission schemes.
  • Execute Key Projects: Lead technical projects such as seamless system upgrades, data migrations, and the deployment of new plugins and applications within our Kubernetes environment.
  • Document & Empower: Create clear documentation and share your knowledge, empowering teams to use our collaboration tools to their full potential.
What You'll Bring:
  • A passion for building and maintaining resilient, scalable systems.
  • 2+ years of experience in a system support, DevOps, or SRE role.
  • Deep expertise in administering and customizing Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Linux system administration.
  • Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes), including concepts like pods, services, and deployments.
  • A problem-solving mindset and excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to provide occasional out-of-hours support for critical maintenance.
  • Bonus Points: Atlassian certification (JCP, ACP) or experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
