Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying / Building Study or relevant discipline
Experience in NEC Project
At least 2 years contracting and production experience preferably in the roadwork / asphalt industry
Solid understanding of asphalt technology gained ideally via operational exposure
Understanding of key financial principles & tendering project based works
Excellent written and spoken English
Strong business sense with creative thinking, proactive and independent
Sound analytical and negotiating skills

Tasks & responsibilities

A member of the QS team will assist the quantity survey manager in the execution of site measurements and the preparation of interim
Formulating the statement and final measurement
Follow up on the client's work certification and payment
Liaising with the client to confirm measurements and sort out disputes
Estimating new rates for additional and extra work
Initiating contractual variations and claims
