- Lead end-to-end project delivery for Google Cloud initiatives, ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, and budget.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans with defined milestones, resource allocations, and deliverables.
- Conduct regular status reviews to track progress, resolve issues, and mitigate risks and dependencies.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, IT, and business units to deliver customized cloud solutions.
- Align project outcomes with strategic business objectives and client expectations.
- Monitor and control project budgets, including cost tracking, forecasting, and financial optimization.
- Proactively identify and manage risks, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Oversee procurement and vendor management for cloud-related services and solutions.
- Enforce security protocols in line with industry standards and Google Cloud best practices.
- Act as the primary liaison for stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and accountability.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including risk registers, status reports, and post-project reviews
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing projects leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a must.
- Minimum 7 years of work experience in project management related to Data or AI implementation on Google Cloud platform.
- Experience in financial services or similar regulated industries is highly preferred.
- Have prior experience working on projects that involve regulatory bodies is considered.
- Hands-on experience in planning, progress monitoring, budgeting, and scope management for large-scale projects.
- Knowledge of IT security policies and best practices, particularly in cloud environments.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder and vendor management.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a proactive approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) and/or Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect) is highly preferred.
- Good command in both English and Chinese (Cantonese is a MUST).
