My client, a top proprietary trading firm is seeking a skilled Trading Support Engineer to join the Hong Kong team. These guys are top players in the high frequency trading circle and use some of the best technologies to beat the competition.The OpportunityWe're looking for a motivated Trading Support Engineer who enjoys fast-paced, high-stakes environments. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the stability and performance of out client's trading systems, working closely with traders, developers, and infrastructure teams. This is an opportunity to be at the heart of live trading where your actions matter every second.What You'll Do
  • Monitor & Support: Oversee real-time trading systems, proactively detecting and resolving issues to ensure seamless operations.
  • Incident Response: Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive quick resolution with minimal downtime.
  • Automation: Develop and enhance monitoring tools, scripts, and dashboards to automate routine tasks and detect anomalies.
  • Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with traders and developers to implement new features and support trading strategy rollouts.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and drive process improvements to boost system reliability, latency, and scalability.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience: 2+ years in a support, SRE, or technical operations rolebonus if in a trading or financial environment.
  • Technical Skills: Strong in Linux, Python or Bash scripting, and experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus).
  • Mindset: Analytical, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure with a passion for problem-solving in fast-paced settings.
  • Team Player: Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between tech and trading.
