This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to start a career in the field of data engineering and analytics, to gain practical experience from different IT projects and retail operations.This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to start a career in the field of data engineering and analytics, to gain practical experience from different IT projects and retail operations.Responsibilities:Assist in the design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processesAssist in the design and development of business data visualisation dashboardsPerform data cleansing and ensure data qualityInvestigate and analyse ETL pipeline, identifying and resolving performance or consistency issuesOptimize data workflows and processes for efficiency and scalabilityCollaborate with internal IT teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutionsAssist data scientist on preparing data for machine learning and artificial intelligence projectsMaintain project documentation, including technical specifications and data mappings to enhance the efficient use of data servicesRequirements:Diploma or degree qualification preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science or relevant disciplinesGood team player with strong problem-solving and communication skillsAttention to detail and the ability to manage administrative tasks and duties autonomouslySelf-motivated, able to work under time pressure independently and as a team, with qood multitasking skills.Excellent written and verbal Cantonese and EnglishProficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), 0365 apps (Forms, MS Teams, SharePoint) and other video conferencing applications1 year relevant experience in IT or Analytics field is preferred, candidate will less experience but with matching skills may also be considered.Experience in data visualisation tools, such as Tableau, would be a definite advantageExperience in data cleansing, ETL and data quality management would be an advantagePersonal data collected will be kept and handled confidentially by authorized personnel for recruitment purposes only.
