We invite people with the heart and passion to join us in realizing our social mission."The HKSR Jockey Club Geriatric Rejuvenation Hub" is a service unit of the Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation at MacLehose Rehabilitation Center in Pok Fu Lam, Hong Kong Island. With funding from the Hong Kong Jockey Club, the " The HKSR Jockey Club Geriatric Rejuvenation Hub " has begun to provide one-stop inter-professional rehabilitation services since January 2022, providing rehabilitation short-term accommodation plans, intensive care services for middle-aged and elderly patients with stroke or orthopedic disease day rehabilitation training, and provides accommodation for patients with dementia.The incumbent would be responsible for supporting the successful release of our new operation system and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, and responsible for ensuring all transactions and documentation of the assigned service units complies with the reporting standards and requirements of the Organization and funders/stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (“UAT”) of the new system by documenting and reporting any identified issues or bugs during the testing process
  • Assist in the preparation of data conversion templates, perform data cleansing, and verify the accuracy and completeness of migrated data;
  • Assist accounts receivable reconciliation;
  • Handle accounts payable invoices, ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures;
  • Support month-end closing processes, including the preparation of accounting schedules;
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements:
  • Higher Diploma or above in Accounting;
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in accounting, preferably within the public organisations;
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and perform effectively under deadlines;
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit;
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables.
