The Bank's slogan of 'For Personalized Service' and 'All in a Family' denotes the Bank's devotion to providing personalized services to its clients and promoting a harmonious relationship among its staff members.Responsibilities:Lead the business development team in working closely with business units and branches of the Bank in soliciting general insurance business opportunities including both personal line and commercial line businessFormulate and execute the business strategic plan in order to achieve the business goals and the budget of the departmentOffer rate and terms & conditions in accordance to the guidelines and authorities provided by insurerAssist insurer in conducting the pre-renewal and take appropriate actions when necessarySupervise subordinates in providing prompt and accurate quotations servicesEnsure the sales force is properly equipped with product knowledge and relationship management skill as well as procedures related to after sales servicesAssist in product development in providing feedbacks from clients and other market playersCoach and provide training to subordinatesExplore and identify opportunities of other distribution channelsWork with other supporting teams in order to improve operational effectiveness and efficiencyPerform projects and/or ad hoc tasks assigned by supervisorRequirements:Degree holder in Marketing, Business Administration or related disciplineProfessional qualification of Associateship of Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII) and/or Senior Associateship of Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance & finance (ANZIIF) an advantageMinimum 8 years of relevant experience, in which 5 years are at supervisory level in business development of general insurance fieldSound knowledge of general insurance products and good understanding of the operations of general insurance companiesSelf-motivated and independent with good leadership and people management skillsGood command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including PutonghuaProficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Chinese word processingWe offer competitive remuneration commensurate with candidate’s background.
