This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility of renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.Responsibilities:
Manage contractors for project implementation and provide professional advice on technical and quality issues of Baggage Handling System (BHS)
Identify design and construction issues and liaise with maintenance and operation teams to provide effective solutions
Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation on quality and progress of works
Ensure new engineering works in compliance with the latest design codes and practices, the Authority’s requirements and relevant statutory requirements
Coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure the works are conducted in safe and efficient manner with minimal impact on daily airport operations and completed on time
Perform shift duties including overnight shift if required
QualificationsRequirements:
Higher Diploma or Higher Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic Engineering or other related disciplines with at least 8 years' relevant working experience in frontline maintenance of large scale system facilities. Degree holder with 6 years' relevant working experience will also be considered
Strong communication, coordination, interpersonal, analytical and organizing skills
Proactive, service-oriented and able to work independently
Possess a valid HK driving license (Class 1, 2) is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
