SummaryCA-CIB has a major investment in the FX asset class, seeing it as a core area of service, growth and investment. The business is distributed globally with trading centres in London, Hong Kong and New York.eFX technology is responsible for a suite of applications and services, forming the core of the etrading FX business line. This line services clients, internal Sales, and other branches of the group. The suite includes connectivity to markets and multi-dealer venues, single dealer platform (Jetstream FX), pricing and trader tools, and supports FX spot, forward, options and deposits. The services are implemented in C#, Java and KDB+.eFX IT are looking to set up a development capability in Hong Kong to assist with this and to take ownership of areas of the stack, both with newly developed and existing functionality. The team will work within the global remit, with the location also providing excellent opportunities for synergy with the Hong Kong FX desk.What we are looking for:Must have:

Competencies in .NET Framework, C#, WPF and SQL
Knowledge of software delivery process and automated testing.
Clear communication.

Nice to have:

.NET 8.
Financial knowledge.
Knowledge of real time pricing and execution.
Performance optimisation.

What you will be doing:

A key member of the development team.
Working with eFx trader and sales to deliver Asia development road map.
Working closely with the global eFX IT teams.
Participate in the development of all aspects of product delivery including design documents, functional specifications, unit testing and component build.
Prototype solutions in a fast, agile manner with numerous demands from both Front Office and IT teams.
Be comfortable performing analysis in a high frequency low latency environment.
Provide technical assistance and 3rd line support to internal Production Support teams.
Participation on software releases which may be performed out of hours/weekends.

Refrain from taking any steps which could lead to the removal of certification of fitness and properness to perform the role.
Undertake all necessary steps to satisfy the annual certification process.
Comply with all applicable conduct rules as prescribed by the relevant regulator.
