- Lead and oversee the planning and execution of compute and storage migration projects, ensuring adherence to project management framework and governance standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and third-party partners to coordinate change executions effectively.
- Foster close partnerships with cross-functional technology teams, industry peers, and partners to develop innovative technical solutions and migration approaches.
- Engage key stakeholders to define clear expectations regarding project scope, timeline, budget, and risks during the project charter phase.
- Develop tactical and strategic project plans that enable agile responses to evolving conditions. Monitor progress, provide regular status updates, and promptly escalate issues to project sponsors as needed.
- Manage changes in key milestones, handle scope creep, and facilitate replanning as part of the change management process.
- Design and implement comprehensive service transition plans in collaboration with Operations teams and business units, ensuring minimal disruption during changes.
- Efficiently resolve conflicts and effectively manage priority issues across project or functional areas.
- Utilize appropriate tools and techniques to measure project performance and track the realization of benefits.
- Hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Possess a minimum of 8 years of hands-on project management experience, specifically in Enterprise Platforms, Storage & Backup, Networks, or Datacenter Hosting domains.
- Have practical experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, preferably using ServiceNow.
- Possess familiarity with a range of project management tools and techniques (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence).
- Display exceptional communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, influence key business decision-makers, and build consensus.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving capabilities and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
- Maintain a strong sense of compliance, control, and risk awareness.
- Exhibit proficiency in working with figures, project KPIs, financials, estimates, and risk assessments.
- Possess a customer-centric and results-oriented mindset.
- Hold relevant certifications in project management methodologies such as PMP or Prince2.
