Major Duties:
(a) To perform teaching duties including supervision of students’ project and fieldwork placement;
(b) To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration;
(c) To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials;
(d) To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; and
(e) To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions.
Requirements:
(a) A recognised degree, or equivalent;
(b) Registered in Hong Kong under the Dentists Registration Ordinance and have a valid practising certificate issued by the Dental Council of Hong Kong;
(c) At least 3 years’ full-time relevant teaching and/or industry experience; and
(d) Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese.
Notes:
(1) Candidates with less experience may be considered for the post of Part-time (Daytime) Assistant Lecturer in the rank of “Teaching Associate”.
(2) Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment.
(3) The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and/or outside campus.
