Our client is a public utility company and they are looking for a Manager, IT Procurement/ Contract Management under IT team to drive governance and operations of IT procurement/ contract management and activities. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in contract management, procurement and knowledge in IT domain.Responsibilities:
  • Manage the governance and optimization of IT procurement, contract management, and vendor management procedures, you should propose solutions to ensure the cost-effectiveness, alignment and time-efficiency
  • Represent the team to and engage with IT project management teams to ensure that project governance compliances and frameworks are met. Escalate issues to senior management when necessary
  • Refine project financials to enhance IT investment efficiency. Streamline and consolidate PMO processes/ frameworks to ensure that they are lean and robust.
  • Lead strategic initiatives to boost the efficiency, aligning with organizational goals.
  • Streamline project governance, prioritize portfolios, support change management, and develop performance dashboards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in a senior supervisory role.
  • Certification in relevant methodologies such as Agile, Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or PRINCE2.
  • Proven experience in process project management, PMO, improvement initiatives, change management, and IT procurement is strongly preferred.
  • Strong business planning and strategy development skills, with solid project management and financial metric knowledge.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and influencing abilities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
