As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Voice and Collaboration Engineer to join our dynamic team.The RoleAs a Senior Voice and Collaboration Engineer , you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing our global Unified Communications (UC) infrastructure. You will be responsible for monitoring alarms, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring seamless operation of our voice and video systems. Additionally, you will serve as an escalation point for users and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability, security, and compliance.Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and respond to alarms generated by voice and video systems in a high-pressure environment.
  • Serve as an escalation point for troubleshooting and resolving UC-related issues.
  • Collaborate with IT Operations, Cybersecurity, and Networking teams to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Develop and enforce standards, best practices, and documentation for global UC infrastructure.
  • Manage and optimize voice recording platforms and messaging archiving products for compliance.
  • Work with Cisco API and other UC technologies to automate workflows and enhance system capabilities.
  • Provide capacity planning and performance tuning for voice and collaboration systems.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to voice and data communications.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in voice and collaboration engineering, preferably in a financial or high-availability environment.
  • Expertise in Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity Connection, and Cisco Webex.
  • Hands-on experience with voice recording platforms (e.g., NICE, Verint, Red Box) and messaging archiving solutions.
  • Proficiency in Cisco APIs (TAPI, AXL, REST) for automation and integration.
  • Strong understanding of SIP, H.323, QoS, and network troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with UC compliance regulations (e.g., MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, SEC/FINRA).
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced trading environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
