- Implement the Omne OneMod, Opus OneMod for all the markets.
- Create Design Specifications for all Technology implementations for the Hong Kong Omne Implementation.
- Document ETL data model for multiple countries as part of OneMod implementation.
- Manage multiple concurrent programs which are executed as part of the group OneMod program
- Design, implement, and optimize ETL process to extract, transform, and load data from various insurance source systems.
- Transform business requirements to executable technology specifications.
- Provide technical expertise and leadership to design, development, implementation, testing, documentation for key data components that support strategic business applications
- Lead and design reusable and scalable data models that will be used across all markets
- Implement extensive SQL queries to analyze, test and cleanse data based on a standardized template of requirements to meet business needs
- Develop standardized template for documenting different JIRA tickets, ensuring consistency and clarity
- Work with the country teams to document the source data and map to OneMod database
- Work closely with SMEs for business requirements
- Work closely with development team for technical requirements
- Guide and supervise other team members and vendors to Design, Analyze and deliver as Data Engineer Must be familiar with and highly skilled in all aspects of Life Insurance Data Model, ETL’s, Sql Server. Lead the discussion with the countries related to data unification.
- Presenting to leadership and stakeholders and supporting coordination of technical decisions.
- Collaborating with stakeholders on the business and country IT side to capture and create the data model.
- Ensure unified and standardized data structures across different markets, emphasizing data quality, consistency, and compliance
- Enforce data governing principles
- Lead daily scrum calls, deployment discussions, and retrospective to drive project progress
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements for data solutions
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data mapping
- Make data driven decisions
- Manage cross-regional project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
- Deliver solutions that will be used across multiple regions and platforms
- Degree in data science or equivalent
- At leas 10 years of experience in data analyst or business analyst role
- Strong understanding of database modelling and design principles.
- Deep knowledge of database concepts, including Normalization and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD). Insurance domain experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, conveying technical details clearly.
- Good to have: Experience with AWS database services, including RDS, Redshift.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and communication skills and should be able to work as an onsite-off-site model.
- Familiar with Agile Methodologies, Scrum etc.
- Knowledge of insurance data such as Life-Asia, Group-Asia
- Strong understanding of insurance terminology
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills in English and Cantonese
