Role Purpose:The Store Design Manager position is responsible for managing the overall Store Design Project Process from inception to completion, working with and supporting WISDD Department Purpose & Responsibilities.A typical day in this Role:
  • Develop Layout Space Planning for retail space maximization in line with business needs.
  • Develop Exciting Design Concepts and Visualization for both Exterior and Interior Store Architecture.
  • Develop together with WISDD Store Development Manager on Material & Construction Interface structure.
  • Develop the Technical Specification Guidelines for both Exterior and Interior Store Architecture.
  • Develop Fixture Design Concepts and translating to Technical Drawings.
  • Guide & work together with WISDD & Country BU Local SD Teams ensuring smooth implementation & delivery.
  • Conduct Project Learnings for Continuous Improvements where required and update the Technical Specifications Guidelines accordingly. Ensure all Project Data Documentation Management are archived accordingly.
  • Manage Support Designers throughout the design process.

Success will depend on:
  • Degree in Architecture or Interior Design with 5+ years design, fit out & management experience.
  • Retail & fixture design in Luxury and/or Health & Beauty is preferred. Regional experience is an advantage.
  • Creatively orientated, embracing latest trends, with the ability to fuse specifically and realistically to business brief.
  • Self-driven & proactive to ensure the successful management of multiple projects in line with priorities.
  • Collaborative player with both internal and external parties to share, develop and deliver to business brief.
  • Highly proficient in using CAD, 3D design modelling & rendering, Adobe Suite and Office 365 software.
  • Database management to house all electronic files and manage all libraries for use by multiple parties.
