  • Manage the end-to-end purchase order process, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand material requirements and forecast demand accurately.
  • Optimize inventory levels by implementing effective inventory management methodologies and analyzing demand patterns.
  • Oversee logistics operations related to materials procurement, including transportation, customs clearance, and delivery tracking.
  • Conduct regular vendor performance evaluations and manage relationships with key suppliers, ensuring adherence to quality, delivery, and cost requirements.
  • Identify and qualify new suppliers, conducting comprehensive assessments of their capabilities, reliability, and compliance.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and favorable terms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and finance, to ensure alignment and efficiency in procurement activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in purchasing processes, cost optimization, and supplier performance.
The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role within the electronics industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electronics materials procurement, including components, raw materials, and finished goods.
  • Excellent understanding of purchase order management, logistics operations, inventory management, and vendor management.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
