Key responsibilities:Collaborate closely with a team of developers to develop, implement, manage, administer, and support company applications to meet organizational objectives.Lead a team of developers in Hong Kong and the People's Republic of China.Oversee application projects, including requirements gathering, business analysis, vendor/product evaluation, implementation, and reporting.Manage outsourced projects and monitor their progress.Provide regular status reports on projects.Work with other teams to ensure effective and secure applications.Stay updated on technologies and developments in application solutions, and integrate them to enhance the company's applications when appropriate.Perform day-to-day operations.Deliver training sessions or presentations as needed.Requirements:University graduate in Computer Science or a related field.Over 10 years of IT application experience, with at least 3 years in business application and proven project management experienceExperience in the system development lifecycle and implementation of web-based application systems using JAVA, JavaScript, HTML, and familiarity with SQL using Oracle and MySQL databases is preferred.Hands-on experience with jQuery, AJAX, PHP, Python, Bootstrap, Linux Platforms, Shell scripting, and frameworks such as Spring and Restful API is an advantage.Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture, components (pods, services, deployments).Proficiency in container technologies (Docker, Podman, …etc.).Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Helm, Kustomize).Strong project management and organizational skills, with certifications in PMP, SCRUM, and Agile preferred.Experience with mission-critical Internet applications, Cloud platforms, K8s docker containers, and DevSecOps CI/CD is an advantage.Familiarity with the domain name registration industry is an advantage.Holder of PMP or PRINCE2 or equivalent certification is an advantage.Strong communication skills and excellent oral and written report writing and presentation skills in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.Shuttle buses between Tai Wai, Mei Foo, Kowloon Tong, Olympic, Lam Tin, Yau Tong, Hang Hau, Sheung Wan, Sai Wan, Kennedy Town, Taikoo Shing and Cyberport are available.Attractive remuneration and fringe benefits will be offered to the right candidates.
