Building and optimising relationships and interactions with external and internal stakeholders, including payers, public health organisations, government and patient stakeholder groups. You will translate strategy and plans into new and expanded value creation and access opportunities for local products and portfolio, ensuring a better collaboration with government authority and create the new shaped market to benefit more patient. This position will report directly into the General Manager of Hong Kong & Macau and this role will be part of a member of HK leadership team.Your job responsibilities will be, but not limited to:Provides vision, leadership and operational oversight for the function of Corporate affairs and Communications.Drives high levels of individual and team performance engagement as winning teamDevelops and implements plans that increase market and patient access also payer excellence capabilities across the organisatioParticipates in local, regional or global cross-functional teams to address and support Government Affairs related key business objectives and strategies.Collaborate with local cross-functional team, to identify rich market insights across patients, providers, and payers to develop comprehensive sustainable Access framework and strategySupport and monitor medical/ diagnostic capabilities, referrals to existing solutions, generate new thinking reframe approach to affordabilityIdentifies, analyses, and acts on legislative initiatives and emerging issues that could impact AstraZenecaServes as an internal thought leader on legislative and regulatory matters at the strategic level.Develop compelling and differentiated product value proposition, provide advice to business unit on affordability program that ensures patient access while stewarding brand objectivesBuild and optimise relationships with external stakeholders including government officials, payers, regulators, public health organisations and patient stakeholder groups. Shapes the external environment to strengthen the positioning of AstraZeneca’s products and portfolioStrengthen partnership with Government and Healthcare authorities to deliver innovative and patient-centric solutions, improving people’s lives in Hong-Kong and MacauLead and support key and innovative Patient/Market advocacy initiatives at Corporate levelEmploy own expertise in one or more areas of AstraZeneca's relations with non-governmental organisations and corporate social responsibility to support the development of programs and policies aimed at strengthening AstraZeneca's relationships with and reputation in the various communities affected by its activitiesDevelop and execute communications strategies and programs for a wide range of external and internal communications initiatives of the companyEssential for the role:Bachelor’s degree in field of Science or BusinessMinimum 15 years working experience in pharmaceutical industry with at least 3 years in government affairs function3 years with people management responsibilityThorough understanding of the Hong Kong and Macau GA landscape and the legal/regulatory environment for pharmaceuticalsApplying a strategic mindset by anticipating future possibilities and translating them to breakthrough strategies as well as being resilient towards setbacks and adversity when facing difficult situationsStrong leadership skills, to give clear direction and prioritiesstrong customer orientation, high level of negotiation skills, diplomacy, teams collaborationAn innovative thinker to lead and influence the team for new solutionsAble to gain alignment across different functions and stakeholdersExcellent command of both oral and written communication skills in English and CantoneseDesirable for the roleExperience in Government authority in HKSARKnowledge of financial principles, business analysis & planningProficiency in MandarinWhy AstraZeneca?At AstraZeneca we’re dedicated to being a Great Place to Work.
