
Finance Manager - Leading Investment Bank

- Prepare state share registration (SOE) filings, including new company registrations, share capital changes, liquidations, and other transactions, ensuring submission by deadlines.
- Stay updated on new policies and requirements related to state share registration.
- Coordinate annual review filings and manage progress.
- Collaborate with Corporate Secretary teams to obtain necessary supporting documents for filings.
- Complete group reporting notes for assigned accounts within agreed timelines.
- Identify and address abnormalities in collected data, promptly notifying management of potential issues.
- Respond to audit queries related to reported notes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Stay informed of finance policies issued by relevant authorities.
- Assist in developing finance policies as directed by the supervisor, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Deliver balance sheet substantiation requirements to corresponding finance teams on time and follow up on outstanding matters.
- Assist finance teams in resolving related queries and report key findings to management within project timelines.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Strong command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
- Familiarity with investment banking operations is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (e.g., Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Experience with accounting systems such as SAP is a plus.
- Audit experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- High attention to detail, with a proactive and independent "can-do" attitude.
- Quick learner and strong team player.
