Job Responsibilities:· Oversee the administration of the school’s instrumental programmes, including the Choral Instrumental Programme (CIP), In-school Individual Instrumental Programme (IIIP), and Chinese Instrumental Programme. Tasks include scheduling lessons, liaising with instructors, maintaining student records, and managing instructor payroll.· Coordinate student participation in music festivals, competitions, and external performances.· Maintain effective communication with parents, students, teachers, and staff regarding music programmes and upcoming events.· Handle parent enquiries professionally and promptly.· Oversee the daily operations of music-related after-school activities, including logistics and coordination.· Assist in organising rehearsals, concerts, recitals, and other musical events, providing logistical support to ensure smooth execution.· Support student management related to music activities, including attendance tracking and reporting.· Assist with inventory management of musical instruments and equipment.· Act as an accompanist or pianist for school choirs and orchestras if qualified.· Contribute to fostering a positive and inclusive musical culture within the school community.· Provide administrative support to the Director of Music.· Support school events and performances as needed.· Perform any other duties as assigned by the Division Head or Director of Music.Job Requirements:
· Degree holder (major in Music) or above.· Ability to play the piano or serve as a choir accompanist is highly desirable.· Strong organisational and administrative skills.· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.· Experience in event planning and coordination.· Ability to multitask effectively in a busy school environment.· Enthusiastic team player with a passion for music education.· Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, parents, and external partners.· Knowledge of music education and performance practices is an advantage.· Willingness to work outside regular school hours.Working Hours:Monday to Friday - 8am to 4:30pm (School Days) / 9am to 5:30pm (Non-school Days)Interested parties please send us your detailed resume including current and expected salary by clicking "APPLY NOW".(Personal data provided by applicants will be treated in strict confidence and used for recruitment purposes only.
