With a strong presence in regulated markets, the firm delivers high-quality products and services to a diverse customer base, including retail consumers, healthcare professionals, and institutional partners.Amid rapid growth and the increasing importance of digital channels, the company is seeking a strategic and dynamic Senior Manager / Head of E-Commerce to lead its e-commerce operations in the Hong Kong market. This leadership role will be instrumental in driving the companys online sales strategy, enhancing digital presence, and transforming the e-commerce platform to support business growth in a competitive and regulated landscape. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead a team of 4 to 5 e-commerce professionals, ensuring alignment with corporate goals, optimizing customer experience, and fostering innovation in a dynamic digital environment.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy, prioritizing online sales growth, customer acquisition, and retention to align with business scalability and objectives in the Hong Kong market.Oversee daily e-commerce operations, including website management, online merchandising, digital marketing, payment systems, and customer service, ensuring seamless performance and an exceptional user experience.Lead initiatives to enhance the companys e-commerce platform, leveraging data analytics, UX/UI improvements, and emerging technologies to drive engagement and conversions.Establish and maintain e-commerce policies, governance, and documentation to ensure compliance with Hong Kong regulations, data protection standards, and industry best practices.Collaborate cross-functionally with the General Manager, marketing, IT, and supply chain teams to assess digital needs and implement innovative, cost-effective solutions that support business objectives.Stay abreast of digital trends, e-commerce technologies, and regulatory updates to maintain a competitive and compliant online presence in Hong Kong.Lead and mentor a team of four to five e-commerce professionals, fostering professional growth, setting clear goals, and driving high standards of performance with a strategic, results-oriented approach.Act as the lead point of contact for e-commerce matters during audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory interactions.Participate in ad-hoc assignments to support the companys broader business objectives, including omnichannel integration and digital transformation.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related discipline; Master's degree strongly preferred.10+ years of experience in e-commerce or digital retail roles, with at least 5 years at a managerial level, preferably within pharmaceuticals, retail, manufacturing, or FMCG industries.Proven expertise in driving e-commerce growth, with a track record of transforming online platforms and achieving significant sales milestones in the Hong Kong market.Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and regulatory requirements in Hong Kong.Demonstrated ability to deliver seamless, compliant, and customer-centric e-commerce operations in a dynamic, regulated environment.Strategic and firm leadership style, capable of driving innovation, resetting expectations, and leading digital transformation initiatives.Proven experience managing e-commerce projects, stakeholder communications, and cross-functional collaboration, with direct reporting to senior management.Professional certifications such as Certified E-Commerce Consultant (CEC) or similar are highly valued.Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, collaborative, yet results-driven approach.Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and able to multitask while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese; strong computer skills, including familiarity with e-commerce and CRM systems.Candidates with less experience may be considered for a Senior E-Commerce Manager role.Apply / Refer a FriendInterested parties, please send your CV / LinkedIn profile to Scarlett Chan at or apply directly.Know somebody who might be interested?
