- Development of product acquisition strategy by identifying suppliers / key attractions partners to on board into KKday app
- Develop unique KKday product portfolio offerings to attract suppliers / key attractions with a strong value proposition
- Strategizing and implementing Hong Kong overall BD strategy
- Provide overall leadership to Hong Kong BD team to drive alignment on business strategies and create an environment where you will empower your teams to strive for innovation, embrace change, enthusiastic and entrepreneurial spirit.
- You must have an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify drive short-term and long-term BD opportunities to drive GMV & Profit growth
- Be a strategic thinker yet hands on executor, solid relationship with partners / suppliers and a passion for the travel tech industry.
- Able to collaborate with both internal and external team stakeholders to support business objectives
- Experienced in leading BD team to meet business objectives
- Analyze Hong Kong competitive environment and performance to identify areas of BD opportunities and potential threats
- Develop BD commercial strategy across all verticals (i.e Key attraction, hotel, tickets, F&B) by identifying & acquiring suppliers / key attractions partners to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage
- Develop and implement a consistent BD business plan and budget, sales and pricing strategies.
- Lead BD team to identify, negotiate and communicate contract terms with suppliers / key attractions partners to seal agreements.
- Communicate business strengths and brand value to suppliers / key attractions partners
- Engage suppliers / key attractions partners and providing the best solutions to address their business needs and maximise their GMV / Profit potential with KKday Hong Kong
- Understand suppliers / key attractions partners’s products and collaborate with marketing team to develop marketing campaign to drive effectiveness
- Lead, motivate and inspire BD Hong Kong team to develop and execute BD plans.
- Build & maintain suppliers / key attractions partners contracts & network
- Work with BD team to collaborate internal team including marketing, operations, finance, customer service
- You have a Bachelor Degree in Hospitality, Business Management or Marketing preferred
- You have previous work experience (Ideally 10 years) in a Business development or equivalent role, ideally in a high growth environment, OTA, key attractions or tourism industry (include leading BD Team)
- Experience in developing BD strategy to acquire key suppliers & collaborate with marketing team on marketing campaigns with proven record
- Good understanding of travel industry and strong industry networks
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to succeed in a fast pace, startup environment.
- Highly effective communication and influencing skills with a fluency in local language as well as English.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, conflict resolution and problem-solving and presentation skills
- You have excellent organizational, analytical, and business management skills
- Your strong interpersonal and communication skills help you to liaise, cooperate and influence with multiple stakeholders
- Strong planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
- Globally-minded and comfortable working with people from different cultural backgrounds.
