The VSSC is responsible for providing timely and accurate liability modeling services and analytics to the Asia Business Units. These services include the execution, assembly, and initial analysis of all IFRS and local reserves, sensitivities, and capital calculations, as well as the maintenance of associated valuation models and procedures.With the IFRS 17 reporting basis effective on year 2023 and adopt globally. The Asia VSSC is also responsible for the end to end reporting process for IFRS 17 basis, with quarterly IFRS 17 results to fulfill audit requirements and also implements prioritized items for IFRS 17 Actuarial system development to ensure quality results will be delivered.The role supports the Head of Valuation Production & Reporting Process, Asia to deliver IFRS17 solutions. This role requires good collaboration with different parties and with exposures to various teams – Data and Systems, Controllers and Actuaries from local business units.Appropriate training will be given to the candidate to help him/her transforming to an all-rounded actuary as a reporting expert and also with good modeling knowledge.Responsibilities- Support actuarial model and report review. Provide advice on modeling approach and insights on the efficiency.- Provide training to junior staff on modeling skills, reporting knowledge, coaching and review their deliverables- Provide advice on results validation on developed IFRS 17 solution focusing on accuracy and efficiency- Consolidate, analyze and explain the financial and data analysis results to the manger- Provide documentation and training to other team members on the subject matters- Provide ad-hoc support to the team as resource pools if neededWhat motivates you?

What we are looking for- Internationally recognized Actuarial designation such as ASA/FSA/FCIA (or good progress on actuarial exams) and more than 4 years' of actuarial experience.- Preferable of having managerial experience.- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with demonstrated ability to work with complex financial issues and concepts.- Strong communication skill, both written and oral. Able to translate technical reporting and audit requirements into common terminology- Ability to manage multiple priorities with demanding deadlines.- Proactive attitude and good team player.What can we offer you?
