Reporting to the Manager, Financial Accounting & Tax Services, Fund Clients, this full-time and permanent position is based in Hong Kong, allowing you to make a significant impact to our growth.Key responsibilities:
  • Responsible for full sets of accounts and bookkeeping for clients including but not limited to review of accounting entries, journals, financial statements and bank reconciliation.
  • Responsible for treasury & payment administration from review of payment instruction, Fund Movement Statement to dispatching payment instruction.
  • Provide monthly payroll service to clients such as review of monthly payroll calculation, tax returns, MPF contribution and payment arrangement.
  • Assist the team to achieve the business goal and financial objectives of the department.
  • Review working papers prepared by subordinates and support manager in clients' service delivery.
  • Being the coach in providing support to subordinates and monitor their performance.
  • Setup of accounting system and workflow for new clients
  • Prepare various reports to fulfil clients' business objective.
  • Liaise with clients on accounting issues.
  • Satisfy any other specific requirements of clients.
  • Perform other ad hoc projects as assigned by immediate supervisors / seniors
Key requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or relevant disciplines
  • HKICPA members or equivalent for other association including CAANZ, ACA, ACCA and CIMA
  • At least 3 years' accounting and tax experience
  • Basic knowledge of Hong Kong and China Taxation and Accounting Practices and Compliance
  • Proficient in various accounting software is an advantage
  • Self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Presentable and strong in communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong sense of professional integrity and strong business acumen
  • Client oriented and have good client liaison skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; fluency in Mandarin is an advantage.
