The firm combines local knowledge with global capabilities to provide comprehensive legal services to clients worldwide.Job DescriptionThe Business Development & Marketing Assistant (or Coordinator) will provide general administrative support to the business development team, including the drafting of pitches and proposals, meeting materials, customer database management, pipeline management and general logistical support for firm-wide business development and marketing activities. The teammate will support attorneys and partners to nurture client relationship through communications and engagement. In collaboration with the department's Specialists and Managers, the new joiner will provide back end research and analysis support for pitches and proposals. He/she will be asked to provide support in drafting certain components of pitches and presentation materials.In addition, the teammate will support marketing communications such as brochures, newsletters, and thought leadership content, as well as client events, seminars, webinars, and conferences. The firm also leverages social media to engage with current and potential clients. Hence the Assistant (or Coordinator) will be assigned to update social media with compelling content in English and Chinese.The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in business development and marketing within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Fluency in both Chinese and English is required, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and research skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and results-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and deadline-driven work environment.
  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
