They are seeking an experienced Procurement Operation Manager to join their Procurement Team, where you will play a key role in managing supplier contracts, ensuring compliance, and optimizing procurement strategies to support their global operations.Description
  • Negotiate, draft, and manage contracts with suppliers for maritime-related goods and services, including vessel equipment, supplies, and logistics.
  • Oversee contract lifecycle from inception to execution, including renewals, amendments, and terminations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as operations and legal teams, to align procurement activities with business objectives.
  • Conduct risk assessments, ensure regulatory compliance, and mitigate potential issues in supply chain contracts.
  • Monitor supplier performance, resolve disputes, and drive cost-saving initiatives through effective contract management.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on contract status, performance metrics, and procurement efficiencies.
Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Law, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in contract management or procurement, preferably in the maritime, shipping, or logistics industry.
  • Proven ability to handle complex contracts and supplier relationships in a global context.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
