Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HRIS Assistant Manager with expertise in Workday to join the HR team. As an HRIS Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of our Workday HRIS system. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, system efficiency, and process improvement. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Workday and a strong understanding of HR processes and data management.Responsibilities:Workday System Administration:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all Workday-related inquiries and issues.
  • Manage Workday configurations, security, and permissions.
  • Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Collaborate with IT and HR teams to troubleshoot and resolve system-related problems.
  • Stay up-to-date with Workday releases and new features, and implement relevant enhancements.
HR Data Management:
  • Oversee the accuracy and integrity of HR data within the Workday system.
  • Manage data imports, exports, and integrations between Workday and other HR systems.
  • Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures.
  • Generate custom reports and analytics to support HR and business needs.
  • Ensure data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization within Workday.
  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders to streamline HR processes and workflows.
  • Participate in system testing, including user acceptance testing for Workday updates.
  • Provide training and support to HR team members on Workday functionalities and processes.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and trends in HR systems and technology.
Project Management:
  • Assist in HRIS projects, including system upgrades, enhancements, and implementations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and documentation.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HRIS administration, with a focus on Workday.
  • Strong proficiency in Workday HCM modules, including Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, and Talent Management.
  • Solid understanding of HR processes, data management, and reporting requirements.
  • Experience with Workday security and permissions management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Workday certification(s) preferred.
