IT System and Business Process Analyst (Logistics Focus)

- Initiate the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for logistics/ shipping related business operational procedure and IT systems, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and internal compliance standards;
- This role involves regular travel to site offices within APAC to make sure consistency, efficiency, and compliance in tech workflows throughout the company's regional footprint;
- Collaborate with logistics end users and audits teams to integrate systems and automate workflows, enhancing operational efficiency and data accuracy;
- Conduct regular system-based compliance reviews, leveraging data analytics tools to monitor accuracy, integrity, and adherence to regulatory requirements;
- User Training & Technical Enablement, develop and deliver training programs for end-users, including system usage guides, process documentation, and troubleshooting materials;
- Define and implement business operation and system-driven KPIs to track performance, compliance, and quality metrics across logistics operations;
- Reporting & Insights, generate data-driven reports on system performance, compliance status, and improvement opportunities for senior management;
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives, lead tech-enabled quality assurance and compliance improvement projects, identifying opportunities for system enhancements and process automation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Logistics/ Engineering/ Quality Management, or a related field;
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Quality Management) are a plus;
- AT LEAST 6 - 8 years of experience in quality assurance and compliance within Technology Department in a shipping industry; Proven experience in QA, tech operations, or IT governance - ideally within logistics, shipping, or supply chain environments.
- Strong understanding of logistics shipment operations, supply chain management, and regulatory requirements;
- A strong understanding of logistics shipping, particularly sea/ocean freight, involves with both the operational work-flow and the supporting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems;
- Proficient in developing and implementing SOPs.
- Experience with training development methodologies.
- Sounds knowledgeable in quality management tools - software, data analysis tools, and compliance management systems;
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive compliance initiatives effectively;
- Willingness to travel frequently;
- Strong communication skills; Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin;
- Solid understanding of logistics ERP systems and their integration with business processes;
- Proficient in developing and implementing SOPs for IT systems and operational workflows.
- Skilled in using quality management tools, compliance software, and data analysis platforms (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL).
