  • Conducting literature reviews on AI empowered open educational tools;
  • Assisting in the needs assessment to identify the specific requirements and challenges of teaching staff and students in using AI-powered educational tools;
  • Designing instruments for data collection;
  • Conducting questionnaire surveys and interviews;
  • Carrying out qualitative and quantitative data analysis;
  • Writing up case studies of best practices using AI-empowered open educational tools to innovate the teaching and learning mode;
  • Assisting in the drafting of project progress reports and the final evaluation report;
  • Performing any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
  • A master’s degree, or a Bachelor’s degree with a track record of research and publications. Preference will be given to those who are familiar with educational research and educational technologies;
  • Good knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methods and techniques in educational research, such as the use of common statistical tests;
  • Very good command of English and Chinese (preferably including Putonghua);
  • Good organizational, presentation and interpersonal skills; and
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
