(Senior) Data Engineer (Insurance, up to 50k)

• Collaborate with the finance and actuarial team to comprehend the business problem, propose, and construct a new architecture and solution based on cloud technology.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end business process and implement automation using innovative technology.
• Create and develop highly scalable data platforms, automated data ingestion processes, and integration pipelines.
• Utilize data management technologies for tasks such as data ingestion, data quality assurance, data security, data lineage, data cataloging, and master data management.
• Work with various data storage solutions, including Data Lakes, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.
• Resolve complex operational issues in a diverse enterprise environment, involving multiple services across AWS cloud, on-premises infrastructure, and external applications.

• Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Statistics/Sciences.
• Demonstrate expertise in data management architecture, including data warehouses, data lakes, and data hubs.
• Have experience in implementing ETL/Data Streaming/Data Analytics solutions, such as PySpark and Kafka.
• Have at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering development, handling structured and unstructured data from various data source systems.
• Possess a solid understanding of the features and capabilities of the AWS Cloud platform
• Possess knowledge of CI/CD or DevOps practices.
• Exhibit excellent communication and written skills, including fluency in both Chinese and English.
