As the lead for the Executive Compensation Consulting Practice for Hong Kong you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the firm's executive compensation services covering several key areas to drive performance and growth of this key practice area in the market.The role reports to the Career Business Leader, Asia and will be a member of the practice leadership team as well as play a broader leadership role across Mercer’s business in Hong Kong.What can you expect?Leadership and Vision:

Practice Development:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that address clients' complex executive compensation challenges.
  • Stay at the forefront of market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices to continuously enhance our service offerings.
Team Growth and Talent Development:
  • Attract and recruit top-tier talent to build a diverse and high-performing team of supporting consultants.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to nurture and maximize the potential of team members.
  • Create and grow a cohesive and motivated team that consistently delivers exceptional results and exceeds client expectations.
What you need to have:
  • Has the skills and experiences to lead and grow an impactful Executive Compensation or Executive Rewards Consulting practice with significant level of board and C-Suite interaction, possibly within a reputable global consulting firm or similar environment.
  • Demonstrated capabilities to lead and drive revenue generation and business development with a reputation in the market as a trusted advisor in this space.
  • Extensive experience in a consulting or corporate environment in executive compensation design, analysis, and implementation, with in-depth knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire, guide, and empower teams to achieve outstanding results.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic mindset, coupled with the capacity to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, enabling effective interactions with clients, C-suite executives, and internal stakeholders.
  • Advanced degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as Certified Compensation Professional, Global Remuneration Profession, or Certified Executive Compensation Professional are advantageous but not required.
