Job Description
  • Lead a team of 3-4 people to manage month / quarter group ledger end closing under USGAAP basis according to group requirements.
  • Manage deliver process on Actuarial Gross Margin series package under tight time.
  • Support USGAAP regime including Long-Duration Targeted Improvements (LDTI) reserves.
  • Support management accounting including production of result, conduct financial analysis to allocate main driver under case of exception and variance on expected result.
  • Manage Group report submission.
  • Analyze downstream impact for new initiatives from local company or new arrangement from group on accounting process / treatment and adopt these initiatives in the book.
  • Communicate with division leads from other book for GAAP difference.
  • Liaise with cross-function stakeholder throughout financial reporting process.
  • Liaise with external auditor from group for USGAAP and IFRS audit.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • CPA qualification is a MUST.
  • Minimum 5 years of progress experience in finance with at least 3 years in a managerial / supervision role and sizable insurance company.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and USGAAP.
  • Solid experience on investment accounting, group reporting and FP/A experience is preferred.
  • Attention to details, able to work under pressure, think and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Solid experience on people management is highly preferred.
