Project title: On the significance of assuring the quality of deep learning programs with
innovative mutation testing approaches[Appointment Period: 12 months]The appointee will join a research project as captioned above. The project aims (1) to advance the
capabilities of generative AI to enhance code analysis and automated testing specifically for deep
learning programs, addressing several critical objectives; (2) to fill the gap that unlike traditional
software development benefitting from rigorous testing, deep learning programs substantially lack
analogous testing frameworks, leading to inefficiencies and wasted computational resources. The
appointment will be for a period of 12 months with the possibility of renewal subject to agreement.The appointee will be responsible for supporting research projects. He/she will assist in searching
literature, developing algorithms, conducting experiments, analyzing results, writing the papers and
reports, managing administrative work, supervising part-time student helpers, and performing other
duties as assigned by the project leader.Applicants should have at least Level 2 or equivalent or above in five subjects including Chinese
Language, English Language and Mathematics in HKDSE; or Grade E (Level 2) or above in five
subjects including Chinese, English (Syllabus B) and Mathematics in HKCEE or
equivalent. Preferably have a Bachelor's degree with have high proficiency in English and Chinese,
preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.
Candidates should demonstrate the solid skills in software development, project management, and
academic writing. Proficiency in some programming languages, such as Python, Java, C/C++, and/or
